As you may know, National Chautauqua 2020 has been canceled due to the Corona Virus/Covid 19 pandemic. Even in the wake of this international public health issue, the National Youth Education Department (NYED) of Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ is still moving forward with youth related programs, by way of virtual means.

Sis. Page is the recently appointed National E. Bernice Harris Scholarship Essay Competition and Scholarship Banquet Chairlady. She is also the first-place winner of the 2012 E. Bernice Harris Scholarship Essay Contest.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences/Dietetics from Tuskegee University. She is currently a Ph.D. Candidate, at Auburn University, with an expected graduation date in 2021. Her field of study is Nutrition with and emphasis in Community Nutrition and Public Health.

The E. Bernice Harris Scholarship Essay Contest

The E. Bernice Harris Scholarship Essay Contest (EBHSEC) will take place on, Thursday evening, July 23, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. CST. The presentation will be broadcasted by way of Facebook Live. This event is open to graduating high school seniors for the year 2020 and students who will be graduating at the culmination of the 2020-2021 academic school year. Participants must meet the criteria of the National Youth Education Department and the E. Bernice Harris Scholarship Essay Contest Guidelines.
